Tools for Experiments#

Welcome to the Tools for Experiments documentation site. This site is currently under construction. Thank you for visiting us.

Tools for Experiments is an organization led by Pfafflab with the objective of providing a robust experimental software framework. We strive to make useful tools that can provide research groups with what they need to shape their environment into what they want it to be.

Who is this for#

Our framework is aimed at any experimental physics/materials research whose experiments consist of relatively short, computer-controlled, and diverse measurements. We strive to build code that puts the experiment first.

Where to go from here#

  • About Us — who we are, the packages that make up the stack, and the philosophy behind how we build them. Start here if you are new to the organization.

  • Examples — worked examples that show the tools in action, from a short introduction to full experiments.

  • Contributing — how to set up a development environment and contribute code or documentation to any of the repositories.
